Sunset

So, I've decided that I must take an official hiatus from this blog. I'm going to keep the site active, but I'm not going to post anything new. It's been fun, but my life simply doesn't allow such activities at this time. Anyway, for family members, I'll still try to post things on the family blog, and for non-family members I'm still checking facebook daily.....although more and more it is leaving much to be desired. Anyway, above is a great sunset photo from our back yard.

Sunday Nature Photos

Here are some nature photos from our yard. The first is a baby agave, the second a gecko, and the third some shrub which I haven't yet determined if it is native to here, but is going banana pancakes flowering.

Sunday Nature Photos

It's spring, but the only think I can find in bloom are the Ocatillo. They do make a nice red splash across the desert landscape though.

Sunday Nature Photos

Spring is here. I took these while on a walk with Marge on Friday. The first two are certainly not native to the Chihuahuan Desert, rather exist only at the whim of home owners. The third, Ocotillo, however is exemplary of this desert.

The first Ocotillo (Fouquieria splendens) flowers of the year.

Sunday Nature Photos

Here are some photos I took from our back yard. It is still autumn here.

Here is Macey, whom easily makes Marge jealous.
