Texas is Big!

In an e-mail I haven't responded too, my dad asked "where is Big Bend?" Well, here is a map of Texas. I've added a red dot on the location of the park. Essentially, Big Bend National Park is located where the Rio Grande, separating Texas and Mexico, turns north and runs for about a hundred miles or so before turning south again. It's a nine or ten hour drive from the metroplex. Texas is a big state.
